New York, USA – On February 16, 2006, the National Association of Export Companies (NEXCO) hosted a seminar entitled “Working Through the Maze of Global Sourcing” at the Williams Club in New York City. Michael Levine, an attorney with the firm Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C., advised businesses on how to protect their brand and name via social compliances relating to health and safety rules, labor laws and other **** and legal issues. Savio Chan, President/CEO of US China Partners, Inc., shared the differences between sourcing and strategic sourcing within China. Annie Jie Xu, Director of International Business Development at Alibaba.com, provided insight on how to best source merchandise through international supply chains.
