Have you ever found yourself trying to search through a long list of contacts within TradeManager? In this tutorial we are going to be looking at making life easier for you by creating and managing contact groups in TradeManager.

Creating a group in TradeManager is simple once you know how:

1. Decide upon a suitable group name (in this example I will be creating a group called 'Toys')
2. Using the Contacts menu select Manage Contact List > Create New Group(s)
3. Type your chosen group name in the Create New Group dialog box and click the button labeled Confirm
4. Your new group will now appear in your contact list

If you want to rename a group:

1. Using your mouse, click on the group name that you wish to change to highlight it
2. Using the Contacts menu select Manage Contact List > Rename Group(s)
3. In the Rename Group dialog box type the new group name and click on the button labeled confirm
4. Your new group name should be visible in your contact list

Once you have created a group you will probably want to populate it with contacts. To move one of your contacts into a group:

1. Click on the contact name that you wish to move to highlight it
2. Using the Contacts menu select Manage Contact List > Move to Group
3. In the Move to Group dialog box select the group to which you wish to move the contact using the drop down selection menu
4. Click on the button labeled Confirm to confirm that you want to move this contact to this group
5. Your contact should now be moved into the group that you specified
