Dec 12, 2002 - Alibaba.com recently held a 3-day customer training for 35 China Suppliers, the company's major customers in China.
Mr. Savio Kwan, Chief Operation Officer of Alibaba.com, shared his ideas on leadership and management with the entrepreneurs in the first day of the training. One trainee regarded it as "enhancing my understanding towards the art of management as well as my trust upon Alibaba." Others also nodded that it was "very impressive, insightful and very helpful" to improve their own management.
Explaining Alibaba's company culture to the audience, Alibaba CEO Mr. Jack Ma helped the customers better understand the company and its business strategy; and Chief Technology Officer, Mr. John Wu, analyzed the current trends of e-business & its deep impact on global trading.
The training also included a presentation of buyer behavior analysis from our Buyer Service Division, with international trade case studies.
According to the Customer Relation Department of Alibaba.com, this customer training not only aimed to help customers better use the online marketplace, but also an effort to assist them in growing and expanding along with Alibaba.com.
