Cologne, March 12th 2008: The hardware and DIY sectors from around the world came to Cologne to participate in the four-day International Hardware & Practical World fair. More than 3,375 exhibitors and 70,000 visitors visited during the 4 day event, 77 percent of which came from abroad, representing 130 countries.

The trade fair was an ideal place for those in the tools, fastening technology, locks and fittings sectors as well as builders' and DIY supplies industry to meet and gather information on current trends. Many members also grasped the opportunity to find new business partners and strengthen existing contacts.

Alibaba.com attracted thousands of international visitors and exhibitors to their booth and showed visitors just how easily they could cover the world marketplace using the innovative B2B website’s powerful search engine.

The C006 Alibaba.com booth stood 27 square meters, and was located in Hall 6. The experienced three hostesses distributed Alibaba.com branded bags, Gold Suppliers brochures and CDROMs to thousands of international visitors and exhibitors. Thousands of international visitors ended up carrying our signature orange bags around the fair, making a big presence for Alibaba.com.
