Alibaba.com members have reported receiving messages requesting Member IDs and passwords through TradeManager. Never reply to such messages. If you have responded to a suspicious contact, change your Alibaba.com password immediately. For assistance, please contact us directly at alibaba@alibaba-inc.com.
If you receive an instant message claiming to be from "Security Department" at Alibaba.com or anything like it, report it to us at alibaba@alibaba-inc.com so the sender can be immediately blocked. Remember, Alibaba.com will never ask for your Member ID or password through TradeManager, so never reply to such a message (example below).

Isn't it amazing how much time these people can spend trying to cheat you out of your money. I haven't received this one, but I have received an email telling me how terrible my company is and here, click this link to see what we are saying about you. The link takes you out of Alibaba to a very Alibaba looking page where you need to login again.
