Product safety compliance advice
Compliance with various international safety standards is essential to reducing your product liability risk exposure. Chinese suppliers must invest both management time and resources into several key risk management areas:
- Product Certification: wherever possible an internationally recognized laboratory or test center should be used for your product certification.
- Quality Control and Assurance: quality procedures and industry best practices should be enforced at every stage of your manufacturing process.
- User’s Manuals and Instructions: must be in compliance with the standards of the export markets.
- Labels and Warnings: must be reviewed from both a legal and a technical perspective.
